In a move not seen since Nexus of Fate in 2019, WotC has elected to ban the card Leyline of Resonance for Arena Bo1 Standard only. Citing that, “It disrupts normal play in Best-of-One Constructed matches…” and, “…Leyline of Resonance has made gameplay unfun by … making it so there isn’t much ‘playing’ involved.”
This decision comes outside of the normal B&R cadence, for which the next announcement will take place on December 16th.
Additionally, Leyline of Resonance has been suspended in both Bo1 and Bo3 Constructed Alchemy pending a rebalance of the card.
