- Details for Arena Championship 8 have started going out to qualified players.
- The event will take place on March 29 – 30 and will be using Explorer as the Constructed format. There will once again not be a Limited portion to the event.
- Decklists are due on Monday, March 24th at 3pm ET.
- Day 1 of the event will be 7 rounds of Swiss, and the Top 24 at the end of Day 1 will advance to the single-elimination Playoff on Day 2. As with Arena Championship 7 the Top 8 after Day 1 will receive a Bye in the first round of Day 2’s tournament.
- Anyone who makes the Top 16 will receive an invitation to Pro Tour: Final Fantasy on the weekend of June 20th, and both players who advance to the finals on Day 2 will receive invitations to the World Championship in December.
- Players who are qualified for the event should be on the lookout for further emails later this week with additional details. If you have not seen this email yet and are qualified for Arena Championship 8, make sure you check your spam folders.
