- This week’s Arena Announcements article initially listed an Arena Direct event happening on May 17th and 18th. When I asked Dave in the official Arena Discord to verify, as this would be the second Direct in May and Saturday and Sunday was an unusual timeframe for a Direct, he confirmed for me that listing a Direct on these dates was a mistake. I also asked if it was possible this was supposed to be an Arena Open instead, an event that typically happens on Saturday and Sunday, and he confirmed for me that would be the case. The Arena Annoucement article should be updated shortly with this information.
- There were some other interesting additions to the Arena calendar in this article:
- Gladiator will be returning to Midweek Magic May 20-22nd
- There is something listed as “Pioneer Showcase” on May 10 – 12. To my knowledge this is the first time the word “Pioneer” has appeared in any capacity as part of an official Arena event.
