- There was a very large update to Arena this past week to update Unity, the underlying Arena client engine. The intent of this upgrade is to allow for future upgrades and improvements, and the large file size was due to how much of the client was affected by the change.
- This change has resulted in a number of bugs, mostly visual, being reported by users. They expect to have some of this fixed by the MKM update next Tuesday, however they expect to be working on them past that date.
- In the meantime, if you come across any bugs please make sure to report them to the Dev team, along with screenshots if possible.
- The Dev team is aware of the bug that is causing Sparky to continue delivering the same messageing over and over, and upgrading Unity was the first step to addressing this bug for good. Now that the update is out they expect to fix the Sparky bug as quickly as possible.
- From February 27th through March 5th you can play in the MKM Story Deck event!
- This event will cost either 2,500 Gold or 500 Gems, and you can earn up to 6 card styles by using the 5 Preconstructed Standard story decks for the event.
- There will also be a bonus non-event deck that’s exclusive to Brawl.
- You can find all the details, including the specific deck lists, on MTG Daily.
- The Arena Cube will continue to be available until February 5th.
